Founder & CEO of The Powers Group, Gordon leads a Hawai'i-based firm delivering tailored business growth services through technology, innovation, and infrastructure solutions for public, private, and commercial clients.

He empowers communities and enterprises with secure and scalable technologies, tailored services, and support—building resilience across commercial, government, and defense markets. He is especially focused on helping Hawai'i's small businesses with growth services and operational support.

With 28+ years of leadership across defense, the public sector, academia, and industry, he brings expertise in advisory leadership, commercial innovation, defense and security solutions, and enterprise transformation.

His 27 years of service as a U.S. Army Field Artillery Officer included leadership roles across the Indo-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, with assignments at the 82nd Airborne Division, Army Futures Command, Pacific Fleet, U.S. Army Pacific, and OSD (R&E).

His expertise spans C5ISR, secure communications, and advanced mission systems, with collaboration across NATO, the State Department, and multinational coalitions.

Gordon remains active in Hawai'i's innovation, government, and business ecosystems—building connections across government, industry, and civil society.
