Founder & CEO of The Powers Group, Gordon leads a Hawai'i-based integrator delivering secure, scalable, and mission-ready solutions through technology, innovation, and partnerships for public and private sector clients.
The Powers Group serves as clients' primary integration partner—understanding challenges, designing solutions, and delivering outcomes that advance missions and business performance. Gordon is especially focused on helping organizations connect people, systems, and processes to achieve data-driven results.
With 28+ years of leadership across defense, the public sector, academia, and industry, he brings expertise in advisory leadership, commercial innovation, defense and security solutions, and enterprise transformation.
His 27 years of service as a U.S. Army Field Artillery Officer included leadership roles across the Indo-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, with assignments at the 82nd Airborne Division, Army Futures Command, Pacific Fleet, U.S. Army Pacific, and OSD (R&E).
His expertise spans C5ISR, secure communications, and advanced mission systems, with collaboration across NATO, the State Department, and multinational coalitions.
Gordon remains active in Hawai'i's innovation, government, and business ecosystems—building connections across government, industry, and civil society.
